Hyderabad was included in the plan for which a central allocation of Rs. 48.10 crore has been earmarked for 2013-14 and 2014-15.
As per the Centre's suggestion, preparation of a Detailed Project Report for the action plan is under process.
The plan will cover guidelines of Safe City project, such as CCTV surveillance, command control centres, Dial 100, data centre, highway patrol cars, aerial surveillance, community policing, training of soft skills etc.
The DGP said 90 more reception centres or front offices will be set up in police stations across the state to provide people-friendly and accessible services.
